a wee trip up to durness for the day and to smoo caves which were fantastic. the guide, colin, took us in to the caves on his boat and told us about the other cave they were digging through to on the other side of the one we were in.

we went for a walk out to the cliffs right on the top of the mainland then went for a pub lunch. it was hilarious when I spotted cllr. cryle shand who seemed to be in the middle of a tour of the whole of britain in his wee car. he had nipped up to durness because he was a day early for the black isle show.

durness has an ace beach, I think we'll be back...although the campsite is pretty exposed.
