After the Rain

After some much needed overnight rain the forest felt fresh and new if a little humid. I arrived just as a slight haze was lifting in the morning sunshine creating some lovely light on the abundant  ferns.
Being high summer the overall colour under the trees is predominantly  green so I gave the image a small amount of split toning to lift the contrast.  Looking forward to the Autumn mists.
We have a weather warning out for unseasonable high winds over the weekend. Hope it does not disrupt the many events being held on the Island
