Lady Cardinal Sunning

Today I came upon a fulfilling scene I only imagined when I began a garden where there was nothing  but lawn over 8 years ago.. This was such a surprise. I came in the bedroom and there was the cardinal sunning her wings while sitting on a branch of a self-seeded cherry tree. The tree has finally grown enough to be in front of the corner of the window. And it can support birds close to the house too.
I snuck over to pick up the camera and she just continued enjoying the afternoon sun. 
Happy how this came out because it was taken through the window screen,


And the massive humidity has gone down enough to make the day comfortable.
