Evening light

First things first, many thanks for all the stars and hearts on yesterday's wide angle shot, which got me second place in Bobsblips challenge (yay!!) it's sitting just off page one currently :-)

We were up late, Olympics have a lot to answer for ;-)

We popped to B&Q for a few bits, including oil for our decking.

We stopped off at a local pub for lunch on the way back...I had fish salad, hub had club sandwich, and a drink each :-)

Once home we decided now was a good time to paint the decking since the forecast for tomorrow and Saturday is rain!!

We worked up a sweat, but got the job done within a couple of hours. Sat in the sun with a cuppa for half an hour, then watering resumed, in ours and next doors.

We didn't want anything else to eat, so got showered and changed ready for quizzing, but went out earlier, to call and collect hubs misplaced bar of chocolate from Mondays trip to the garden centre ;-)

Then we drove a circuitous route so I could get a couple of shots for today's blip, before parking up at the pub.

Our neighbours are away, so we teamed up with another couple we know...........but we still didn't win!! Other than a bottle of Merlot in the half time daft guessed.......what percentage f Americans reckon they need their first cup of coffee before they can get going in a morning?
