FOUR!!!!!

Well, today is unofficially my 4th blip birthday, I uploaded my first photo on 18th August 2012. I took a photo every day with only three weeks where I missed because I had sold my camera. I thought it was the end of my blip journey, but I grieved so much for the loss of such a big part of my life that this crazy old site filled with wonderful people was something I just couldn't walk away from. I bought a new...and better...camera, a camera I'm still paying for but I don't care because it means I can do what I love....taking photos and sharing the ups and downs of my life through this great site.

It has been four fabulous years where I have made new friends, I have learnt new skills and I have loved the whole camaraderie of blip. I may not have entered the requisite number of photos to officially qualify for a four year celebration, but to me the 18th August is the date that I had to mark. 

We were working in Hazel Grove today and my little band of helpers were very obliging when it came to making a number four during our tea break. 

It has been a very long and hard day today. I decided I needed to drive the lorry to keep my hand in and I was tested on the way home. The A6 was closed in the middle of town and we ended up going all round the houses only to end up at no entry. I had to turn the lorry round in a very tight spot, it was a real baptism of fire! But I did it. I didn't arrive home until nearly 11 o'clock and so I have fiddled with this pic for as long as my eyes will stay open. It was such a long and hard evening session and it felt as though it was never going to end. One more day, thank goodness. 

So...I raise my glass to all you fabulous blippers out there....the ones I have met, the ones I plan to meet, the ones I chat with on here, the ones who saved this great site and the ones who drop by occasionally...a big thank you to each and every one of you. I have loved these four years and I hope to be doing this for many more years to come. Oh...and I will celebrate again when my official fourth blip day comes around.
