Busy Welding

It was a sunny morning in Scalloway, as I came over the hill to work, misty and dull!  It soon cleared and been a warm sunny day, highest my car said was 21 degrees :)

I've been on the museum desk again today and what a busy day!  There's been two cruise liners in Lerwick today and we had over 600 visitors in the museum.  What an odds it makes to their trip here, when the sun is out and you see them in tshirts :)  I've enjoyed a quieter evening at home, with walkies with Sammy.  Stinking Sammy had to be bathed again tonight, third time in a week, he thought it was a great idea to roll in fish guts left behind after the Viking Fishing, note to self, don't go that way tomorrow!

As I enjoyed a lovely sunny walk about Lerwick and sunning myself, my eye caught the attention of this man working away in a dark shed.  He was busy welding something, but hope he's managed to see some of the sunshine that's been about today, even if it was just on a lunch break.  Taken at the Malakof boat yard, Lerwick.
