A Glorious Outing

Sometimes humans are a mystery to me. Here we are, in the car, ready to go to one of our favourite places, which is the sourdough bakery in the countryside with a wood-fired oven and a small café. And what do you think mum does? She stops on the way there to let Dolly's mum visit a museum with airplanes and the three of us had to wait for a very long time in the car. What?!

Eventually, we got there. It was slightly chilly but we did sit outside. Dolly had to wear her jumper. Except for the wasps circling us, it was perfect! Our mums had sandwiches and salads with cheese and bacon and then some awesome buns and cakes for fika! My mum even had a blueberry cheesecake - my favourite berries! And of course me and Dolly got some. Then we went to say hi to the chickens, who weren't impressed with this for some reason, and for walkies in the nearby fields. And mum bought eggs.

Dinner was soup - and Lickin' Liver ice cream! Dolly, I wish you could stay here forever <3
