A visit to Liverpool and the Biennial today.  We started in L8 amongst the Welsh Streets, rows of abandoned houses which had an effective and suitably subdued artistic intervention in their midst. The houses were the stars though, their individuality still present in the patinas of paint and patterns of tiles.
