Okavango Delta Day 1

Photos from the first day in the Okavango Delta.

Zebras:  different from those in the Chobe area as they have slight brownish shading between the black and white stripes

Extras
Termite mound:  I didnt realise how important termites were in this environment.  They underpin so much of the continuation of life and the mounds they build provide homes and are transformed into water holes once the termites have abandoned them.

Hyena puppies:  curious hyena pups sniffing round the wheels of our landrover.
