How About A Free Lunch?

This strangely coloured bird is a juvenile blackbird, beginning to lose its 'baby' plumage.

This one has been fed by its parents until recently though I think they've decided enough is enough and it should fend for itself. It sat on the fence looking forlorn for half an hour or so until I weakened and threw it some bread and bits of pear.
