Two Poets
It was so obviously a case
of mutual admiration
and attentive listening.
Old friends remembering
days of old
when rhythmic sharing
of the written word
was frequently a source
of mutual fulfillment.
The poets are Diane Stevenson and James Berger, and they were reading at my father's cottage for a small audience and my brother's cat, Demi Tasse, who was listening from the top of a cabinet behind the poets. An extra of James reading while Diane responds. It was lovely fun watching their interaction, and the very individual delivery of their poetry.
I have published two other back blips.
