Woody Woodpecker
We are regularly seeing a family of these Woodpeckers in the garden, although they never arrive together. This is the juvenile who generally likes to hog the bottom bird feeder whilst the female likes the one nearer the house and the male always makes for the feeder which hangs from the tree. They are very skittish and alert to my slightest movement or the flash of the lens, and once they take off it's always a bit of a wait until they return.
Thank you for visiting my journal and your kind comments, stars & hearts for yesterday's "Golden Hour" shot - I'm so pleased you liked it.
