Speyside

I have been trying to catch a picture of a steam train the Speyside steam railway is an hours drive away but I am usually on my way to Glasgow and cannot afford to hang about, but today I had to go pick up my son and his friends who were doing the qualifying silver expedition for their DOE. I spotted a steam engine and train in at the Broomhill station so I joined a film maker who had an incredible tripod (tripod envy strikes again) and took a huge number of shots but only this pleased and in my opinion looked the better for HDR. My son was walking from Dalwhinnie to the Falls of Pattack then to Culra Lodge and back to Dalwhinnie an epic walk and over a couple of bath-less nights in hot weather so the car was "fragrant" to see the least.
