The August Garden

Having been away at the lake for the past week, yesterday was spent watering all the containers and cutting the grass at my humble abode.
Today is just for kicking about in the garden....moving the rhubarb....transplanting some tiger eye sumac, some triming and putsing about.
The brilliant yellow of the black eyed susans always continue to perform in the garden from year to year and spread everywhere. August is 'their' month! The blue glass ball seems to be right at home along side of them.
