Mount Shasta

It is the first day of an eleven day trip to the Northwest. We drove 427 miles and landed in Ashland, Oregon. It was 110 degrees as we drove by Redding, California. The highlight was seeing Mount Shasta. At 14,179 feet (4422 meters), it is visible much of the last hour of the drive within California.
