Flower of Scotland!

It's been quite a day, all in all, what with the women's marathon, the sailing and the tennis. There was more, but you can only keep track of so much on radio and TV! This morning I made a fruit cake and some chocolate nut brownies, while popping in and out to keep an eye on the TV, and then I knitted my way through Ben Ainslie sailing his way to victory!

Between times Ollie and I had a very wet walk. If we'd waited a bit it did dry up, very slightly, to a fine drizzle, but then the midges appeared! Everything is dripping and heavy with rain, but at least the haar has vanished.
