We were too early for the Cancer Research lunch today, so we stopped at Redesmere on the way. All the swans were on the bank today. I got some funny looks strolling around all frocked up when everyone at the mere was in jeans.
The lunch was lovely but we had a massive thunderstorm while we were in the marquee. We have to go into the Manor for each course so we couldn't get our puddings until the rain had stopped. One of the raffle prizes was a voucher for a hairdressers and was won by a completely bald man, which caused great amusement.
