More coffee fringe

Course framework meetings this morning followed by more dentist. This time it was seeing the surgical consultant about the implications of implants. Sadly it looks like it's far to expensive to do at the moment.

After all that I had a couple of coffee fringe events. First was a Sensory class at Brew Lab, looking at identifying aromas, tastes and flavours it was a great event which, for someone with little to no experience like me, could have been really daunting, but it was delivered brilliantly by Emiliya. Really informative, but relaxed as well.

After that it was over to Thomas J Walls for an event by Annette Moldvaer and Pete Garcia from Square Mile coffee. They were showcasing a range of different Costa Rican coffees plus one Cascara which I'd never tried before. again, it was great.

In fact the whole coffee fringe has been brilliant, I'm still a novice but feel like I've learned loads. One more evening event next week and that's it done. This was the first year it has happened, but hopefully it'll happen again next year.
