Jay

A little birdie told me that it's better for a bird to be elusive and then you will appreciate it that much more when you finally see/photograph it.
It didn't help that I tended to go off to feed my face with sausage rolls when all those elusive birds (woodpeckers, jays, kingfishers etc) decided to turn up.  
I finally spotted my first jay yesterday.  Isn't it funny how prolific you find them to be, after your first spot?!
I'm not complaining...I hope to see many more of them!
