Still in Argyll. The Clachan(or Atlantic) Bridge

Once men had crossed this bridge onto Seil Island they went into the near-by inn to change back into their kilts. This was the first opportunity they had as the wearing of the kilt was forbidden following Jacobite rebellions. Crossing the bridge meant they were no longer on the Scottish mainland.
