Bye bye broccoli

A nice quiet lazy day.
I went to Middlebrook to get an upgrade on my phone then did a bit of food shopping. Came home and did a bit of gardening. I've been watching the broccoli plants for weeks and they have only produced leaves and this one has got more and more holes. I spotted lots of caterpillars on the leaf - top right hand corner- so decided that's it compost time. I just wonder if one day when I open the lid of my compost bin lots of butterflies will fly out!!! I have been very lucky with the caulies and cabbages. They are still growing nicely with not too many holes it's the broccolis the cabbage whites have eaten.
