Cuddlebum

Nana is the new member of the pack.
In an attempt to reduce the pain and vacuum left after the loss of Lucy in June, we say that Lucy sent us Nana.
Nana who is 7 years old and originally from Hungary, was apparently destined to be destroyed before being rescued and brought to Germany.
Nana is many things that Lucy was not. Nana is timid with humans but loves other dogs. Nana cuddles and occupies most of the bed in the morning. Nana is polite when being offered treats and doesn't need to be fed using a gauntlet.
Our Lucy taught (and is still teaching) us so much about dogs, but infinitely more about ourselves.
I know that we will enjoy learning from Nana as much as she will hopefully enjoy her life with us.
