Green

Having spent a fair proportion of my time skipping off to the coast in this hot weather I decided I should have a river walk today and see what the countryside was up to.  I was fairly amazed that, with much of the harvest in and all the hot weather we've been having, everything was still looking very green.  Mind you, this is the river valley, so perhaps I shouldn't have been that surprised after all.

What else can I say?  It was a lovely walk and I arrived home melted, but this afternoon I had a cup of tea with my old gent and a long discussion about the iniquities of life, which was very peaceful(!)
