Sugar Flowers
I have finally finished the sugar flowers for Jessica's wedding cake. (Never made them before - Youtube tutorials are fabulous)
I have spent the morning making 3 x 10" round Maderia cakes which I have flavored with Rose water. They smell divine. I want several layers and think I have enough big sponges to slice accordingly. Hopefully, the boys will have more cake scraps to eat with custard later.
According to the internet (netmums) Maderia cake is the best option if you want to make the sponge a few days in advance.
Lots of buttercream to whip up next.
All is going Ok but there is still time (and opportunity) to balls it up!
