Friends and fun

A day at the strawberry picking farm with friends ended up with us all going to the farm park.

We arrived at the strawberry picking farm may I just add that I was early and the first to arrive) to find out that the farm had closed for the season :(

So, with a car loaded of disappointed children and after a few texts between friends, off we went to Oak Farm Park.

We had a fabulous day together, the kiddies all playing nicely with only a few high emotions from R. We managed to position ourselves centrally so that the children could run around and play on all of the equipment on their own with a feel of independence.

On the way home, I decided to make a minor detour and stop off an old haunt of mine, Watery Gates. The girls loved it, we paddled in the stream, watched cars drive through and generally had fun.
