The Downtown Lights
Backblipping...
The girls, Ms M (coffee2cat) and Ms H, finally decided they would go shopping today, so we sort of joined them. They were dropped off and went on their merry way while we went to REI's flagship store, probably the best outdoor adventure shop in the world and one I loved going to almost 20 years ago. As we paused for lunch, the girls happened to be lunching at the same time and came across us as we munched.
We sent them on their way again then met up again at Pike Place Market which features the world famous fish company who throw massive salmon across counters as they fishing sing songs. We I first joined my current place of work some 10 years ago, they used this fish company in a motivational set of workshops... zzzz.... but still I came back. It's a great market with such a range of things for sale.
Next up was the Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibition, various glass blown sculptures and we all really loved it, such amazing shapes and colours, the main blip is one of them. A date with the Space Noodle then followed where we spent about 90 minutes watching and photographing the Seattle skylines and the backdrops of mountains and volcanoes.
The extras, as usual, plot our story...
