lily pads

A long day beginning with a two fold dental appointment, then meeting a friend and her sisters for a full afternoon of snacks, chin wags and dinner---plus a visit with my friend daughter and her two year old...then home and a walk at the green belt this evening wtih Big R----saw some very pretty things...but the sony battery died just after I spotted a little green heron ----darn. So I took what I had already in the camera-the pink sky reflections on the lake of lily pads.  Did a watercolor rendition and am happy with results.  But darn...that green heron was such a surprise to see and how dumb not to have a fully charged battery or extra one along!  Hump day is on the horizon...have a good one!
