Cardiff Bay

Well, what a weekend! Swimming was fantastic on Thursday evening and it was great to see Phelps win another gold medal. The highlight of that day was sitting opposite Chad le Clos's Dad on the tube. He was so animated and was happy to chat to us about his son and how proud he and South Africa are of him. He said he feels like a celebrity after his interview on the BBC and find it funny that people are asking for photos with him rather than his son.
Friday was even better. Being inside the Olympic park and the main stadium was amazing. It was certainly one of the best experiences in my life! Yesterday, we travelled to Cardiff to watch team GB vs North Korea in the football. It didnt end well with us loosing on penalties but again a great experience and atmosphere.
We are back to London on Tuesday to see the boxing at the Excel, so still more olympics to get excited about.
