A privileged glimpse of Kings College chapel today with a colleague who is an alumnus here (has a free pass to the grounds from doing his PhD 40 years ago) and another visiting from overseas.

Apparently this is the grandest stained glass in Europe; likely the world. It feels amazingly imposing and impressive steeped in many hundreds of years of history and I can see why people flock in great numbers to evensong here.
