Waterbabies

Really hot day today, up towards 32 degrees by mid afternoon. Thankfully we have a pool to mess around and cool down in.

This morning I went for a short run and then came back and ran with Carys. After a quick shower and breakfast Will and I set out on an adventure on our bikes. 15 miles of mostly off road cycling later and one grazed knee (his not mine) we returned in time for lunch.

A little bit if homework was done, while lunch went down and then we hit the pool. BBQ for tea to the delight of the kids. Will went to sleep quickly despite the heat, unsurprising after all his efforts today. Carys was less willing to fall asleep in the heat and we may have a tired girly on our hands tomorrow.
