Roaches
Today - Sunday - we planned to get up early and head up the Roaches for a walk in the morning sun before we were going to have lunch at Neil's parents.
Well, all worked apart from the sunshine :) that was lacking.
However, we have a lovely walk all along the rocks and returned back to the farm just in time to quickly visit Neil's sister's horse Stanley before lunch (or dinner as it seems to be called in this family).
Stan is currently in the "bootcamp" at one of her friends.
I used to have my own horse when I was a teenager and stopped working with horses only when I moved to UK 10 years ago.
But - once a horsey girl, always a horsey girl :)
So it was lovely to be around horses and I quickly helped getting him cleaned for his daily exercise. (Extra taken by Neil who had to carry my camera when I took on the brushes)
After that we went for lunch at his parents home (other extra taken from our walk, you can see the farm house behind the trees).
Then it was time to say good bye and get on the road back up to Scotland.
We were home at about 10. Tired but happy.
The main picture is taken from the Roaches towards the south. I think the rock formation in the back is called Hen Cloud.
It is also in my yesterday's extra.
