Tiny Tuesday - With child?
I decided to try a macro of a bug today. I was under the misconception that Australia was crawling with bitey things, just waiting for the opportunity to take me down. Strangely though, our garden has very few critters - I had way more to photograph in New Zealand!
I was happy to find this bug on a gum leaf at the wetlands. I suspect that she might be an orange-red wasp and that she may indeed be with child. I can only ascertain that this was the reason she didn't decide to stick her rather impressive sting into Mr B's fingers (see the extra shot).
Not much else to report this evening, except that it's been a beautiful day, with sunshine and gentle winds. The sunset was exceptional.
Night all.
