Bull in the field

A glorious sunny day. I spent the day doing laundry, painting shelves and strimming the garden. The boys spent a lot of time in front of the tv as C still not 100% after being ill yesterday.
Tea was kale lasagne - tho at assembly time I discovered I only had 3 sheets left, so I filled it with other pasta. D declared he doesn't like lasagne and why didn't I make him something different? I never do so no idea why he thought I would! He then had second helpings because it was so nice! Kids!
In the evening I went out for a run with Lynne. We had intended a loop around portmore loch - it ended up a lot longer because there were "bull in field" signs.
Knowing farmers have to put these up but not knowing if it's a dangerous bull and noticing it was in with the cows we decided to make a detour to get to the loch. Seven beautiful miles later and some lovely views of the loch we drove home with fantastic views of orange/red sunset behind the Pentlands. A fab way to spend a warm summers evening.
