Mistaken Identity

Arrived at the store to pick up an order of gypsophylla, AKA Baby's Breath, for my friend's daughter's wedding. The lady began preparing a variety of flowers to take, when I stopped her with the query...wasn't I just supposed to get the Baby's Breath?
She showed me the order with the name Carol on it. I asked who Carol was, but she wasn't anyone I knew. We finally realized she was giving me the flowers for someone else's wedding. Not giving them to me, actually, she would have allowed me to pay for them....
