Mono Monday - the sound of silence

The wind chime has been very quiet today due to the still, sultry air. It's absolutely silent outside in the yard, no birds or squirrels. 

We walked in the early cool of the day, and then I drove into the city to buy art supplies for an upcoming workshop.  Now I've been enjoying the indoors, painting, applying to renew my passport, watching the Great British Baking show.  Life is good.
