Mono Monday: Sound
The sound of Silence!
They were cutting the grass with a strimmer so that was the only noise we heard!
Kate and I visited Layton Cemetry to put a plant on our parents' grave. We were amazed to see a small artificial flower cross already there, we have no idea who put it there. My grandmother's grave is round the corner and there was another small artificial flower cross. We can only think it was put there by our Uncle's wife whom we haven't seen since Dad died 7 years ago and that our Uncle has died. Last week would have been his birthday and it was my dads anniversary and next week would have been mums birthday.
We went on to Carleton Cemetry to put a plant on Nana's grave. As I'm doing a photo book of her life I have been thinking of her. We drove there past the house I was born in and remembered people who lived nearby. A day of memories.
Spent the afternoon sitting outside in the garden and playing hide and seek with Kate's grandchildren.
