(Peace and) Quiet Lane

We travelled up to Macclesfield today, mainly to collect a granite table top to match our new kitchen.  We decided to take the opportunity for a walk first and after a walk I took last year to Shutlingsloe, via Macclesfield Forest, we chose that area to provide some cover from the hot sun.

I'd noticed these signs last time and thought it was the name of the lane, but now realise it is a general sign as this was in a completely different area.  And it was.  Peaceful and quiet, that is.  Makes a change after the weekend.
