Blue Steel

Chris the Builder arrived early, as did the guys building the wardrobes.

So, I headed out early with these two to buy their new school gear. Too early, as it turned out because none of the shops were open. So, we headed down to Musselburgh for a wander in the morning sunshine and to throw some Zoolander shapes.

Still, the fun couldn't last, so the shopping interrupted play and we managed to get nearly everything before heading back to allow Mrs S to head off to the hospital with her Mum.

When she came back many hours later I was coughing in the sunshine and so, given the news, decided a bottle of wine was in order and a lengthy chat.

Ruby is out in the woods with pals, making the most of her freedom before school starts again. I think I'll get myself dosed up with Night Nurse and have an early night.
