Red hot chilli peppers

Actually they're Sichuan chillis, the REALLY hot stuff! I can tolerate some pretty spicy food and do enjoy it, unlike many of my friends who can't stand any heat :(.

These beauties were brought to us by our dear friend Dave, Dorcas' dad, from a recent trip he made up to Chengdu, Sichuan province in China. I was so touched that he thought of us. I've put some of them in a jar with some olive oil and salt and pepper. Ooh, can't wait to try the chilli oil. Ben wasn't too excited to see them!
