Plot for Sale, Ardmair

This morning there were some smirry showers so we just took our time in the house before venturing out for a walk. We called in at the An Talla Solais gallery and shop to have a look at the last day of an exhibition and get some postcards by our artist friend Joanna. By chance she was in the gallery accepting artworks for the next exhibition so we had a chance to say hello. There were a couple of big paintings on show by the tutor (Eleanor White) at Bridge House Art.

Lunch at The Ceilidh Place from their Brunch Menu ... lovely ! There is an exhibition there in the cafe restaurant with paintings by Barbara Peffers, one of the board members of An Talla Solais who we have met at a few events in past years. Some lovely works, with one very striking one of Ben Mor Coigach.

In the afternoon we took the car a short distance North to Ardmair, one of our favourite places in the area. The weather was much better. We had a wander round with Maeve the Deerhound and spent a good while on the pebbly beach.

We had a quiet evening for Apothecary7 to be refreshed before the five days of painting begin !
