Honey, Honey.....

Spent yesterday afternoon wandering around the Botanic Gardens, happened upon a spectacular exhibition where artisans had recycled some of the significant trees from the Garden that have either died naturally or taken down ‘cause of disease.  Some stunning sculptures, musical instruments, furniture and a few humble bowls.   (No photographs allowed!).


Finished the day at the Opera House watching some of Australia’s talented ballet dancers vying for a prestigious scholarship… so in awe…..   (Again no photographs allowed…. sigh!)


Today’s discovery in my local neighbourhood was this gorgeous Honey Eater (no idea what sort), caught frolicking in a tree enjoying his afternoon tea …. (Photographs allowed!).
