Homemade Beads

I have a necklace from Nigeria that was made from beads made from triangles cut out of recycled magazines. The triangles are rolled into beads and covered in clear gloss. My 9 year old neighbor friend thought it was pretty cool, so I asked her if she wanted to try making beads like that herself. So we did.

I don't know you could sell ours for as much as the professionals, but you get the idea.
