Afternoon Tea

Our daughter visited late morning for coffee although she did not stay long, as we were going out for a gluten-free ‘Afternoon Tea’ at Madingley Hall, organised by the Cambridge Coeliac Group.
 
There were sandwiches with a good variety of fillings, as well as scones with strawberries and cream, baby meringues, macaroons, mince tarts and chocolate cake. The weather was good and some members of the group played croquet on the lawn, but I took a variety of photographs and chatted to other members who were not playing. It was an excellent tea and today’s picture shows my sandwiches and cakes.
