Dead Calm

Still still seas tonight at Newcastle beach and the Children's Pool. Quite a difference to earlier this week. While I was there a pod of dolphins were frolicking off the rock platform but I didn't have my big lens with me to do them any justice. They must have been hunting some bait fish because there was a bit of action and the gannets were getting in on the act too.

My apologies I have been such a poor commenter. It has taken me over half an hour to upload this image. All sorts of internet problems. Will catch up with you tomorrow unless it comes good tonight and many thanks for your kind comments etc on yesterdays.
