Gosh it's hot here!

Not a brilliant photo I'm afraid as we were all sitting in the shade, and in the background is a field of sunflowers which have gone over, but you get the idea. We went to a BBQ at a friends house, starting at 5pm, but they didn't turn the BBQ on until 8pm and by that time we were full of crisps/olives/hummus and wine and so sozzled that we all wanted to go home and lie down as none of us has eaten lunch, thinking that we were eating early!
We struggled on and left at 10pm and still no cheese course or dessert had appeared. I think everyone was tired as it's been so hot here today, and tonight is also a very hot one.
