Came home..

to find so many sweet peas ready to pick... just lovely!  The stems are very short though so clearly they are short of something.. any experts out there... perhaps it is water or maybe food.. any tips? l think both varieties are quite old (both from Sarah Raven) one is Matuacana which l remember had a short stem last time l grew it so perhaps not as vigorous as the more modern ones but they have an unbelievable smell .. just wonderful.
Well it is warmer down here than it was on the coast but the sun made no appearance until late this afternoon so where is this heatwave that l heard about?
Hope everyone had a good weekend.. isn't the Olympics amazing!! Such a lot of medals for GB!!  Now for the Murray medal.. goodnight!
