Big Country

Started the day with a trip to the Loch of the Lowes and were lucky enough to see two of this year's three osprey chicks. They'll be setting off to their winter home in a week or two. In fact the female had maybe already flown leaving the male and the chicks. No one seemed quite sure. Then over to Blairgowrie in east Perthshire. How beautifully agricultural it is here. Had a walk up the Knockie Hill with views to the distant Sidlaws and over these lovely fields of ripe barley.
