Morning Visitor
Looked out the window that is our front door(I am still getting used to having a full windowed front door) and there is this sweet fawn eating my garden. Did I yell and scream and scare it off??? Nope. I stealth-ed to my office and grabbed my camera. I had to shoot thru the window because she(I say 'she' cuz 'she' was so pretty) was so close and I didn't want to spook her. She knew I was there but didn't seem too worried. Ya know....where we moved from was way out in the country on property. We had deer all day long, like pets roaming around our house. I never cease to be amazed by them being close. Here, we live in a neighborhood so it seems stranger to me to have them munching in my front yard then tootle on down the sidewalk to see what better yard to nibble on may be. And, the fawns....I never tire of seeing them :)
The masseuse arrived and scared the fawn off. Had a wonderful massage then had to get to work. ugh. I must say, I got a lot done and by days end I realized that my shoulder and back didn't ache like it usually does after vacuuming, scrubbing, wiping, sweeping and all the other cleaning duties I did today. Got most of the upstairs done. NOW, the downstairs...yikes. That will be a chore. However, I cleaned the bathroom down there so that icky part is done :)
All this cleaning makes me want to paint and get some decorating done!
Had a super day at the store!
The weather was perfect. Even though I was inside cleaning, it was still great to have it be such a beautiful day! We went for a little drive this evening so we got to get out in it a bit. All I kept hearing was how HOOOOTTTT it was up in Portland. Guess some places went over 100F degrees. yuck. Makes me so very happy that I live on the COOL Oregon Coast :)
Enjoyed a delicious fresh cod dinner with heirloom tomatoes and half an avocado. My sweet hubby made the fish and it was sooooo good!
Hoping everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
Happy Saturday
