docked

started with some snacks at Stir Crazy early this morning. then brunch here at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. then went up to Artspace111 to show dad the wedding venue and check out some hotels in the area for guests in March. then back home, a short nap, ate some more, had gelato, decaf coffee, and talked politics. a pretty standard day with Dad: food and museums and lots of conversation.

we are meeting him tomorrow for breakfast then he's off, back on his one-man road trip, eventually returning to Denver by the middle next week. A short trip but we always pack a lot in nonetheless. and Leah and I will be back home in Denver for a long three-day weekend over Labor day.
