A Day of Reflection - Withlacoochee River

One year ago today my mother passed away. It was a rough day yesterday when I visited the cemetery but today was my day to remember the good times. Patsy and I went over to the Withlacoochee River which is where I saw my mother go fishing for the last time. She loved going to the Blue Grass Festival on the river and catch fish while listening to the music in the background. We stopped in at Stumpknockers for an early supper of catfish which was one of Mama's favorites. I talked about her and didn't cry so I was proud of myself. On the way home, a rainbow appeared which is a good sign that Mama is happy.
